Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar da Silva showed once again how humane he is.
The Brazilian had previously founded an institute bearing his name. They take care of 3,000 children and adolescents in Praia Grande, but Neymar had to temporarily close it in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
Nevertheless, Neymar decided to keep all his workers, 142 in total.
Since then, the Brazilian has paid everyone full salaries, as well as health insurance, which costs him around 89,500 euros a month.
His idea is to maintain the structure of the institute until the coronavirus pandemic ends, after which they would continue with normal work.
His father stated that all the money was provided by Neymar and that it would be like that until further notice.
– All jobs have been saved, workers regularly receive salaries and that will be the case no matter how long we have a pandemic. We have also made our premises available to the authorities, if necessary. We all want to contribute to this common struggle – said Neymar senior.
