The Ministry of Health announced 47 new coronavirus (COVID-19) recoveries yesterday. These patients have been discharged from their treatment centers. According to the Ministry of Health’s official website, the total number of discharged patients last night was 1,160. The ministry also announced the registration of 70 new active cases. Of these, 51 were expatriate workers, while 19 were contacts with active cases.
All new cases have been forwarded to treatment centers and are looked after by dedicated medical teams around the clock. The total number of active cases rose to 1,421, all but two of which are stable. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has stressed that early detection of COVID-19 cases in expatriate workers and quarantine of contacts in new cases will accelerate treatment and strengthen precautionary measures to protect the health of citizens and residents. The total number of vehicles tested in Bahrain reached 110,407 yesterday
