The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that he would not sign the independence of the so-called Kosovo.
He said at the opening of the session of the SNS Main Board that the dialogue with Pristina will be continued in mid-June.
– Before and after that, we will be exposed to a lot of pressure. In 2008, when the Albanians made the decision, and then set out to create an independent state, and the reaction of the Serbian state was nil, because the state leadership was doing just that – said Vučić.
He said that Serbia is a part of the world and wants a compromise, but he presented clear “red lines”.
– I will be absolutely under the greatest pressure, denounced and stigmatized, but let me say – I will not sign their recognition of independent Kosovo – he said.
He said that decisions in Serbia will not be made by foreign ambassadors, nor will they be able to put people in positions.
– While we are here and while the SNS is Serbia, it will be asked and Serbia will make decisions – he said.
