Bianca Bush wins a point against the Hungarians
The women’s volleyball national team of Serbia defeated Hungary in the eighth finals of the European Championship in Belgrade with the result 3-0 (25:20, 25:19, 25:17).
The current European and world champions have justified the role of favorites and in the fight for the semifinals they will meet the team of France, which earlier today in a dramatic match beat Croatia 3: 2.
Zoran Terzić’s team played as much as they needed to, they made a difference in each of the sets on time and at no point was the question of the winner raised.
At the start of the match, it seemed that Serbia would “blow” Hungary, considering that it had +13 (19: 6), but our opponents showed an enviable quality and lost the set with only six points difference. There was a great relaxation, Hungary went from -13 to -5, but that was all they managed, defeat was inevitable.

The most efficient in the winning team was Tijana Bošković, followed by Bojana Milenković, Milena Rašić, Bjanka Buša and Mina Popović.
All pairs of the quarterfinals will be known on Monday night when the matches between Italy-Belgium and Russia-Belarus end. For now, the placement among the eight has been secured by Turkey, Poland, France, the Netherlands and Sweden.
