– People visit us often, they read about us in “Vesti” for years, they know about our problems and they want to meet and support us personally – says Hidajet Pljakić from the village of Oraše near Tutin, who has been severely handicapped (without both legs) and has lived for almost two decades. and survives with the help of donations from good people from all over the world.
His wife Bajramka is also severely disabled, she is almost immobile and two difficult hip surgeries are waiting for her in Belgrade.
– Three humane people from this area, who have been working in Germany for years, handed me 100 euros each. These are benefactors R. S, BB and OV They are great humanists and wonderful people. They have sent us financial contributions before, they are modest and do not want me to thank them for their kindness under their full names and “through the newspapers”, but they will know who they are. Thank them endlessly, we pray to God to reward and keep them. I also want to thank a lot and wish all the best to the anonymous donor from Germany since we received another 100 euros, and from Sead Salhić from Switzerland 100 francs – Hidayet emphasizes and adds:
– It has already been announced in “Vesti” that good people are buying us an apartment in Novi Pazar. Thanks to donations from all over the world, we gave a down payment, we will also sell the house in Oraš just to be closer to the doctor and medicine, because we are both seriously ill and weak, so next winter we can no longer wait in Pešter. The investor of the building in which we will live, a well-known businessman from Berlin, helped us a lot, who gave us a discount of as much as 5,000 euros and enabled us to repay the new roof over our heads for years, thank him to heaven.

In the continuation of the conversation, Hidayet reminds that he will keep the last donations for going to Belgrade, where Bajramka will be on operations, and he will be on examinations and controls. In addition to being without legs and his hands betraying him, he suffers from heart, sugar and stomach problems.
Although he has been without legs for more than two decades, Hidajet Pljakić fought heroically, moving his arms, crawling and thus doing hard agricultural work, to feed his family. He was also helped a lot by our readers who once bought him the current house in Oraš and took care of his daughter Amela, who lived with her husband and five children in an abandoned village store.

She is not forgotten
An old donation of 100 euros sent to her from Offenbach by the Selmanović family was also given to old woman Hamida Bihorac from Krnja Jela na Pešteru, who has been living alone for years and surviving with the help of good people from this area and “Vesti” readers. With the new facade, the benefactors warmed and beautified the house, introduced water, built and arranged the bathroom and bought the most necessary furniture, so Hamida no longer has problems with cold winters and the famous cave frosts.
The old woman immediately used the donation from Germany to repair the washing machine, which was damaged by thunder, and buy the most necessary medicines and groceries. She wishes good health and all happiness in life to the benefactor from Offenbach and to all those who sent her help earlier and in recent days.
