Mihajlovic publicly calls out the president of Bologna: “He has not been within the membership for 14 months, that’s unhappy”

Serbian coach Siniša Mihajlović, in the announcement of the match with Spezia, in which his team is only interested in victory and nothing more, spoke less about that duel because the focus of the journalists was on his future at the club.

Specifically, the main topic of conversation with media representatives was Miha’s meeting with the president of the club, Canadian businessman Giuseppe “Joey” Saput, who by the way is also the owner of the MLS club in Montreal.

Miha didn’t have much to say, because he has yet to sit down and talk to Saput, to whom he transferred between the lines that he has been absent from the club for more than a year.

– He’s been gone for 14 months, so we can only talk when he comes. It’s sad for everyone that he hasn’t been there for so long, but I’m sure he has a good reason for it. In any case, better late than never – says Siniša on the topic of future conversation with the first man of the club.

The Serbian coach thinks, and he says it openly, that it is bad for the club that the president has not been there for so long.

– The president is a reference point and when he is absent, it is harder to deal with all things in the club – says Miha.

When asked by a journalist “what is his future in the club”, Siniša says:

– My future is tomorrow’s game and that’s all. We created so many chances against Roma and spent so much energy that we had to lead 1: 0 by half time. I warn you that good games are not enough, we need three points to confirm them. So, tomorrow I don’t care how we play, I just want to win.

The poor realization is the reason why Bologna transferred Musa Barrow to the position of center forward, although so far he has only played on the wing, behind the attacker.

– We are working on him as a striker, but for now he is still better when he is on the wing. At this moment, if Rodrigo Palacio is ready, he is our spitz.

Bologna is 11th in the Serie A table with 34 points, two less than Sampdoria, with two tied defeats in the last two rounds, by the favored Roma and Inter (both 0: 1).
