Former Minister of Tradition Bratislav Petković handed away

Bratislav Petković was also a great lover of cars, so he opened the first car museum in Belgrade and Serbia in the center of Belgrade, in Majke Jevrosime Street.

In his collection, models of old cars stood out, the so-called oldtimers. which are often used to make movies and series.

Petkovic also ran a maternity confectionery, the oldest in Belgrade, which has been open for more than a century.

He graduated in 1972 from the Academy of Theater, Film and Television, majoring in theater directing.

In 1978, he staged the play “Sporting Life” at the Belgrade Drama Theater, for which he wrote the text together with his colleague Vojislav Kajganić.

After that, he wrote two monodramas: “I am selling a broken house” and “Confession of a clown Dragoljub”.

He also wrote the play “Stuntman”, which he later directed in GDP.

He is the author of several well-known plays, some of which have been screened, and some have been performed on Belgrade’s theater stages.

He is the president of the community of museums of science and technology and the vice president of the Association of Playwrights of Serbia.

The collector is an antiquary and a bibliophile. He won the Nušić Award for 2000 and the Golden Beočug for 2001.
