Four brave guys, members of the Athletic Club VGSK from Veliki Gradište, once again showed how humane they are and that they have a big heart, running the 200-kilometer route. Nenad Stanković, Dušan Nikolić, Nenad Radević and Nikola Milovanović started from the start that was in the city on the Danube, the road to Kostolac, Požarevac, Petrovac na Mlavi, Kučevo, Golubac, and back to Veliki Gradište, where they started the race.
These brave humanitarians ran 200 kilometers in 36 hours to help raise little money for little Gavril and heal him successfully, and it is certainly not the first time for them to do such a good deed, says Vladimir Strbac, President of the Municipal Assembly of Veliko Gradiste.
“It has always been said that Veliko Gradiste is a town of good people and good friends who show it in action when it is most needed. This was seen in this case, when our runners were joined by our friends from neighboring municipalities and gave wholehearted support in every way to persevere to the end and in this way help save another life in this case, little Gabriel. Solidarity in Veliko Gradište has never been disputable, from difficult to beautiful moments, and when it comes to floods, to the best sports results, construction of larger infrastructure facilities and more.

By the way, the Humanitarian Foundation “Be Human” by Aleksandar Šapić is raising funds for the treatment of little Gavril Đurđević, who needs and is necessary for gene therapy, rehabilitation, occupational therapies, as well as for travel expenses and accommodation, and for that 2.5 million euros.
