At the suggestion of 41 opposition deputies, the Croatian parliament is debating a vote of no confidence in Health Minister Will Berus, due to a number of problems, as well as inefficiency and non-transparency of immunization and, as stated in the request, corruption and theft of public money during the Crown pandemic.
– The reasons for the recall are clear to everyone – accumulated debts in health care that led to the suspension of drug delivery to hospitals in the midst of the pandemic, huge problems with the vaccination system, and we learned that there are indications for favoring the system on the online platform. “- said earlier the president of the SDP, Pedja Grbin.
Grbin claims that the Ministry of Health “does not function” and that there are no reforms.
– Beros must leave, but his departure alone is not enough and after his departure we must all work together to solve the accumulated problems in the health system – said Grbin, whose party was the initiator of the vote of no confidence in the Minister of Health.
The government rejected the allegations of the opposition and said that there were no grounds to vote no confidence in Beros, and proposed to the parliament to reject the proposal to vote no confidence in Minister Beros, Croatian media reported.
