Zoran Marjanović, who is accused of killing his wife Jelena on the embankment in Crvenka near Borča in April 2016, arrived at the Belgrade Palace of Justice accompanied by a lawyer.

It should be reminded that at the beginning of the trial, Marjanović denied the allegations in the indictment, claiming that he did not separate from his daughter on the embankment.

He is accused of aggravated murder, for which he faces up to 40 years in prison and is defending himself from freedom. The prosecution charges him with killing his wife Jelena on April 2, 2016, on the embankment in Borča, while their underage daughter, who came with them to the Crvenka embankment, was in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene.

Zoran Marjanović has been defending himself since June 12, 2018, since the Court of Appeals terminated his detention, in which he was for 10 months. He was arrested on September 15, 2017, a year and a half after the murder.
