Russian Black Sea Fleet
The Russian Black Sea Fleet controls the actions of NATO ships and other countries participating in the “Sea Breeze” military exercises (Sea Breeze-2021), it is stated in the announcement of the National Center for Defense Management of Russia, “Izvestia” reports.
– The forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet are implementing a set of measures to control the actions of ships of the joint naval forces of NATO and other countries participating in the ‘Sea Breeze’ exercises that began on June 28, 2021 in the northwestern part of the Black Sea .
Earlier, it was announced that the American missile destroyer “Ross” (USS Ross) sailed into the waters of the Black Sea, where it will participate in the “Sea Breeze” exercises.
The annual American-Ukrainian military exercises “Sea Breeze 2021” started in the Black Sea on June 28. Participants will practice combat operations at sea, on land, in the air, parachute landing, anti-ship and anti-aircraft combat with the enemy. During the meeting on military security and arms control in Vienna, the Russian delegation pointed out the scale and aggressiveness of the “Sea Breeze” exercises, which do not contribute to security in the region.
