The volleyball players of Serbia were defeated in the second round of this year’s edition of the League of Nations by Poland with 3: 1 (26:24, 25:19, 21:25, 25:15).
In the winning team, Wilfredo Leon was the best with 26 points.
Marko Podrascanin and Marko Ivovic won 13 points each in the Serbian team.
The selector Slobodan Kovač did not count on Vuk Todorović, Srećko Lisinac and Uroš Kovačević in this match.
Serbia recorded its first defeat in the League of Nations, after beating Slovenia 3: 1 in sets in the first round, while this is the second triumph for the Poles, after the victory over Italy in the first round.
The next rival of Serbian volleyball players will be the host of the tournament, the selection of Italy, tomorrow at 9 p.m.
