Jere didn’t succeed, Karenja Busta turned to victory in the beginning of Rome
Jere had the strength for the first set, which he won. Then the Spaniard played much better and reached a turning point. He won the next two sets and qualified for the continuation of the competition.
Our tennis player entered the match very well. At the very start, he took away the opponent’s service, then in the third game, he missed the opportunity to reach a two-break advantage. Jere then concentrated on his serve, did not allow the opponent any break opportunities and easily brought the set to an end – 6: 4 in the first set.
Great fight in the second set. Again, our tennis player tried to take the service away from the opponent at the very start, he had two break opportunities, but he missed them. Decisive was the sixth game in this set, also the longest in the match.
The opponent pressed the service of our tennis player, he won two tied break balls. Jere managed to get to the advantage, but the opponent was relentless. He missed three more break opportunities. However, he used the sixth and took away the service of our tennis player.
Then the Spaniard routinely brought the set to an end for the final 6: 3 in the set.
There was only one player on the field in the deciding set, Karenja Busta. He easily lined up the games and with three breaks decided the decisive set to his advantage with 6: 1.
