Loncar: We’re desirous about obligatory vaccination in Serbia
The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, stated that he is considering a mandatory vaccination against Covid-19, pointing out that it is a proposal of the profession.
– We agree on that. It is a proposal of the profession and we will work on making it happen in our country as well – said the Minister.
Loncar said that the situation in hospitals is stable and that there is enough space to receive everyone who requires hospital treatment. He noted that more and more patients with a more severe clinical picture are in intensive care.
Loncar stated that there was a large consumption of oxygen in the previous few days and pointed out that the state, in addition to producing oxygen that is exported to other countries, was forced to import a certain amount of oxygen on a daily basis to meet all needs.
– For now, we manage to provide all these things for our patients. We hope that all citizens will adhere to the measures and that a larger number of them will be vaccinated, so that we can slowly start thinking about some other things – said Lončar.
