Immediately before the session for the election of the President of Kosovo, Self-Determination withdrew from the procedure the amendments to the Draft Law on General Elections.
The Self-Determination Movement withdrew the Law on General Elections from the Assembly of Kosovo, shortly before the beginning of the session for the election of the President, which is being held from 6 p.m.
The draft law was withdrawn after the meeting of the presidency of the Assembly. The controversial change was sharply criticized by the opposition, and some parties conditioned the support of Vjosi Osmani if the draft law is not withdrawn.
Empty assembly hall
The hall of the Assembly of Kosovo is still empty, and the session was supposed to start at 6 pm, reports Lajmi.
There are no MPs in the hall of the Assembly either.
