Today, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Vanja Udovicic, talked with the Head of the Council of Europe Mission in Serbia, Tobias Flesenkemper, about the successful cooperation in the fields of youth and sports so far and future joint projects.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Council of Europe continuously and programmatically support and initiate various projects and activities whose ultimate goal is to create new perspectives and opportunities for training young people, as well as to overcome all challenges faced by young people especially during a pandemic.
Proactive cooperation at the institutional level is reflected in the promotion of the highest values in the field of sports.
Udovicic and Flesenkemper jointly stated the need and considered all models of concretization of all possibilities of deepening cooperation in the future in the fields of youth and sports, both on the implementation of specific programs and projects, and on further improvement of the normative framework in these areas in Serbia, through mutual exchange. experiences and knowledge.
Flesenkemper informed Udovicic about the Council of Europe’s quality label for youth centers.
A joint visit to the Ecological Center “Radulovacki” in Sremski Karlovci, the only center in Serbia with this label, has been agreed for May, in order to further promote the quality label in the entire country.
It was also agreed to step up efforts to develop and launch a HELP course on sport and human rights.
