Demush Sasha from the EPIK institute said that there were dangerous moments in the dialogue that damaged Kosovo.
According to him, the idea of exchanging territories and campaigns for recognition from Serbia are two dangerous ideas that came out of the dialogue and an indication that the dialogue has deviated from the path.
– In the future, dialogue can be dangerous because we are in a unique moment. For the first time, we have circumstances that give hope for success in this process. On both sides of the border, we have a majority that is politically capable, and on the other side, the fulfillment of constitutional obligations that require the ratification of an international agreement – said Sasha.
He assessed, having in mind the experience of former US President Donald Trump, that there is already very good cooperation between the EU and America in connection with the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. He pointed out that the danger is that encouraging circumstances are not used for dialogue.
– We have to learn from the mistakes of the past. The moment we take on international obligations, we must be sure that we have broad support for the decisions we make – said Sasha.
