SOC temple in America receives magnificence award (VIDEO)

Temple of Saint Sava in Parma, Ohio

The Church of St. Sava of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Parma near Cleveland won the first prize at this year’s competition for the best designed and executed floors in America, organized by the National Association for Terrazzo and Mosaics in the USA.

Designers from the USA, Austria, Serbia, Germany, Australia and the rest of the world participated in the competition. According to the expert jury, the floor and walls in the Temple of Saint Sava in Parma are the most beautifully designed in the USA.

The first place in the design was won by the architectural firm “Čupković arhitekčr LLC” from Cleveland for the creation of floors and walls of the Serbian monastery in Parma. Noel and Elaine Cupkovic, company owners and architects, as well as their chief designer Jeff Hoskin, were awarded.

Noel Cupkovic is an American of Serbian origin, a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Cleveland, and he and his wife Elaine founded the company back in 2004.

– We believe that the joint design process makes top projects and innovative solutions. We worked on the design of our monastery with a lot of love, spirit and faith in God – said Noel Cupkovic.
