Serbia gives on the market bankrupt baking co Makovica for 314 mln dinars (2.7 mln euro)

BELGRADE (Serbia), February 22 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s Bankruptcy Supervision Agency said on Tuesday said it is offering for sale assets of bankrupt bread and pastry producer and wholesaler Makovica for 314.1 million dinars (2.7 million euro/$3.03 million) at an auction on March 24

The assets offered for sale include, among other things, a 908 sq m office building, silos, a flour mill, animal feed plant and various pieces of equipment, the agency said in a statement.

Mladenovac-based Makovica went bankrupt in July 2020. The Belgrade Stock Exchange suspended trading in the company’s shares in July 2020 and delisted them in December 2020.
