Romana Panić
Singer Romana Panic was arrested and convicted in Australia last year after she and her partner Filip M. (40) set up recording devices at three ATMs in Brisbane and then copied data and bank cards.
Romana was sentenced to 12 months in prison for this crime, and because of her good behavior, she was released earlier and then returned to Serbia.
For a long time, the 46-year-old Romana did not want to talk about her prison days in Australia, and now she has discovered that they were not difficult for her and that this was an important lesson for her:
– Specifically, what happened to me in Australia and that I ended up in prison after a month of staying there, I explained to myself by saying that God took me away from something worse in that way. There is always worse than worse. We never know what God has prepared for us with the worst. That’s how I saved myself. The most important thing is to stay healthy and normal, which I managed to do. That was a lesson, but I’m moving on. I have no reason to justify myself, I was just sorry when I saw so many condemnations. When people meet me, they realize that they shouldn’t have condemned me like that – Romana told Gloria magazine and added that ugly pictures from Australia don’t come back to her:
– I don’t get pictures back in a negative context. This is because I experienced catharsis in prison. That feeling that you are at the end of the world, that you are alone in such a situation. My concern then was not to let anything happen to any of my family members. Not to take it so tragically, not to experience a health problem. I realized that God had saved and saved me. During my stay in prison, I cleansed myself of bad energies, people, phones… When I returned home, I felt fresh, powerful, ready for new victories – added the singer, who claims that during her prison days she often thought of actor Žarko Laušević , but also that the silence and night in the Australian penitentiary were the hardest for her:
– Yes. Yes, it is the worst, silence and night, but the conditions in Australia cannot be compared with the conditions in other countries. It is there at such a high level that you are placed alone in a room where you have everything and no one touches you. You are not only there in four walls, but you watch movies, relax, go out in nature where you walk. There is a huge difference. When I experienced bad luck in Australia, I often thought of Lausevic.
