Novak Djokovic and Marton Fucovic will play the quarterfinal match at Wimbledon from 2.30 pm.
The best tennis player in the world is playing in his 12th quarterfinal, while for a tennis player from Hungary, this is the first placement among the eight best at the Grand Slam.
Novak also plays for the 19th consecutive victory at Wimbledon and the 77th in the tournament since the beginning of his career.
In the previous round, Novak was convincing against the 17th seed, the Chilean Christian Garin, while Fucovic eliminated the fifth seed, the Russian Andrei Rublev in five sets.
Djokovic and Fucovic have met twice so far, in 2018 at the US Open and a year later in Doha, and in both matches the Serbian tennis player celebrated.
The winner of this duel in the semifinals plays with the better player from the match Khachanov – Shapovalov.
