Movie Middle Serbia Prioritises PCR Testings for Movie Crews in Serbia
BELGRADE: The Film Center Serbia (FCS) attaches great importance to the PCR tests for film teams and, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information, supports the associations and guilds of filmmaking in organizing group vaccinations for their members.
Since May 2020, when the official and mandatory health guidelines for filmmaking during the pandemic were established, Film Center Serbia has been officially assisting film teams in obtaining PCR tests as priority groups.
According to official figures, more than a million Serbian citizens had been vaccinated by the beginning of March 2021, which is 95% of those who had applied for the vaccination by that time. The aim is to reach two million people who have been vaccinated. Serbia has one of the highest vaccination rates in Europe, largely thanks to the government’s large purchases of Sinopharm vaccine from China and Russian Sputnik-V vaccine. The country also uses the vaccines developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca.
Over 2 million people in the country of 7 million have received at least one shot so far.
