On that occasion, the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić, and the Mayor of Kruševac, Jasmina Palurović, laid the foundation stone today for the extension of the Kindergarten “Peace Dove” in the United Nations.
They then visited the kindergarten in Veliki Šiljegovac, where the official handing over of the vehicle keys for the transport of the mobile team for work with families from vulnerable social groups and rural
areas.

Minister Ružić handed over the keys to this vehicle in Veliki Šiljegovec to the director of the Kruševac Preschool Institution, Nada Veljković, and Vesna Živković.
In addition to the extension of the kindergarten “Golub mira” in Kruševac, funds were also allocated for the extension of the kindergarten “Labud” in the settlement of Pejton. 58 million dinars will be set aside for these kindergartens in Krusevac, and thus 160 new places will be provided for children who are waiting for admission, 80 in each kindergarten.

The preschool institution “Nata Veljković” in Kruševac, by the way, takes care of 3,500 children distributed in 13 city kindergartens and about forty groups in the rural area.

The upgrade of the kindergarten and the Grant program are carried out within the Project of Inclusive Preschool Education, which is being realized with the help of the World Bank funds.
Minister Branko Ružić said that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Kruševac recognized the common interest and that they wanted to create better conditions for children to grow up.

He added that in the area of Rasina district, by the end of the year, in cooperation with the Novak Djokovic Foundation, the Ministry of Education plans to complete and equip rooms in facilities in Varvarin, Brus, the village of Zlatari, the village of Popina in Trstenik and adapt four rooms in Drenova.
