Aslamova was detained last night in Kosovo and Metohija, and according to the head of the Ministry of Police of Pristina’s temporary institutions, Dzheljal Svečlja, she was suspected of spying for the benefit of the Russian intelligence services, reports Reuters.
According to Ria Novosti, Svečlja did not provide any evidence for those claims.
Komsomolska Pravda explained that Aslamova was in Serbia at the behest of the editor and that she was supposed to prepare a special report on the latest escalation of tensions between Belgrade and Pristina.
