BELGRADE (Serbia), February 12 (SeeNews) – The French yeast manufacturer Lesaffre acquired the yeast extract factory of the US natural animal nutrition company Alltech in Senta in northern Serbia on Monday.
The transaction is in line with Alltech’s strategy of focusing on its core animal and plant nutrition business and will strengthen Lesaffre’s leading position in the yeast extract market, the French company said in a statement.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
