The leader of Dveri, Boško Obradović, stated that the dialogue between the government and the opposition is finally accelerating and that more concrete information on the issue of election conditions will be known in September.
“During yesterday’s meeting It was agreed that the dialogue will be completed at the end of August, at the beginning of September at the latest, when we will receive the government’s answers to our opposition requests that we delivered in the previous 12 meetings of this Working Group in the National Assembly, “Obradovic said.
He adds that MEPs should draft a working document on election conditions.
“We should also receive a working document on election conditions from the European Parliament delegation by the end of August, and they should come again on September 17 and 18, when the second track should be completed, which means that in the next month, month and to know what we are up to every day “, states Obradović.
The leader of Dveri reminded that the proposals to end the dialogue on both tracks, with and without the presence of the delegation of the European Parliament, at least six months before the next elections, were accepted.
He assessed that “everything is up to the authorities now” and that they should respond to the opposition’s demands.

He points out that the State of Serbia, led by President Vučić, is ready to discuss these proposals and find a common position and opinion in order to improve the election process, which, as he says, was de facto improved compared to the previous period because it was being worked on.
“I am almost convinced that most of these requests, almost over 70 percent, will be adopted on both sides, but which will de facto be the result that all parties participating in that election process will be satisfied, and those conditions will be equal for all “, said Obradović.
He also states that the leader of Dveri, Boško Obradović, knows very well that the elections in 2020 were democratic.
“And their decision to boycott the elections cost them, so today they changed their minds and really want to participate in the dialogue initiated by the Serbian Progressive Party and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. The state of Serbia is a very democratic country today, that’s why we are conducting this dialogue,” Obradovic said. .
He points out that the proposals cannot be presented on the street, intrusions, violence, as, as he says, the representatives of Dveri did.
“That is not how democracy is implemented in Serbia,” Obradovic said.
