A four-week forced break due to the recent lockdown in South Australia and the restrictions that followed, managed to derail Belgrade, but not to remove the club from Woodville from the leading position in the First League of South Australia.
In the exciting derby of the round against the direct competitor for the throne Modburi Jets, a draw was won (1: 1) with which the oldest Serbian club remained in the first position, with two points more and a game less than the rival.
Belgrade took the lead early with 1: 0, with the goal of the proven scorer Kyle Markam in the 6th minute. After that lead, the home team slowed down a bit, which the Modburi team used in the 32nd minute and equalized. Then a fierce fight broke out, there were opportunities in front of both goals, but the result did not change.
In the end, according to everything, both teams can be satisfied with the division of points, with the proviso that the draw is certainly more valuable to the leading Belgrade, which will try to keep and increase the advantage in the remaining nine matches.
Coach Damien Mori had the following players at his disposal: Chamberlain, Voltaire, Tobias, Day, Cummins, Simic, Markham, Leo, Kunavelis, Natsiopoulos, Butler-Baudon, Phelps, Nujaim, Padler and Markovic.
In the meeting of the reserve teams, the team from Belgrade won with 2: 0, and both goals were scored by Ivanić. After 13 games played, the Belgrade reservists are seventh on the table with 19 points (six wins, a draw and six defeats, goal difference 20:20).
In the match between the under-18 teams, the match ended in a draw 1: 1, and the goal for Belgrade was scored by Ristic in the 71st minute. Juniors of Belgrade are fourth on the table with 27 points from 13 games (eight wins, three draws and two defeats, goal difference 33:22).
