Vidovdan at Vuk Karadzic School in Jilong
Vidovdan was also solemnly celebrated on Sunday in the Church Municipality of St. Nicholas in Geelong, not far from Melbourne. As usual, the teachers and students of the local campus of the Serbian language school Vuk Karadžić took care of the appropriate program, who aroused the deepest emotions in everyone present with their performance.
With songs and folk songs from the history of the Serbian people, the children paid tribute in the most beautiful way to our ancestors and the sacrifice they have made through the centuries, for all of us today and for the survival of the Serbian people and homeland.
All participants, as well as their teacher Mirjana, deserve great congratulations and gratitude for this special event, in which the Church of St. Nicholas and the elder of the church, Father Petar Božić, also made a great contribution.
