FC Partizan FC Sochi
The Partizan football players qualified for the playoffs of the League of Conferences, as they defeated Sochi in the 3rd round, after extra time and a better penalty shootout.
The first match seven days ago in Russia ended 1: 1, and as there was no winner after 90 minutes of the rematch, after 2: 2, penalties were taken in which the black and whites managed to win.
From the start of the match, Partizan attacked, and the first probable opportunity was Bibras Natho in the 26th minute. The Israeli had a chance from a free kick from some 20 meters, but the goalkeeper Janaev intervened excellently and threw the ball from the upper right corner.
In the continuation, it seemed that the black and whites had the initiative, and then Sochi took the lead. The ball reached Barać on the edge of the penalty area, and he lost to Terekov, who hit the lower right corner of Popović.
After coming from the break, the black and whites played better, and Miloš Jojić shot in the middle of the goal and shook the net for 1: 1.
Until the end of the match, the game was open. Fifteen minutes before the end of Sochi, he took the lead again through Terakov, who scored the second goal, which could have meant a pass for the Russian team. However, just before the end of the match, in the referee’s compensation, after a cross from the right corner, the defense of Sochi stood petrified. That is why the ball reached the second goalpost through a five-pointer to Šćekić, who forwarded the ball into the goal for 2: 2 and overtime.
It was an additional 30 minutes in which Sochi had the best chance to score in the 102nd minute, but after the lob, the Partizan stopper, Vujacic, threw the ball off the goal line.
There were no goals until the end of the match, so Partizan went further after a better penalty shootout.
