Aleksandar Vučić
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is a guest on television with a national frequency.
In the National Daily TV Pink, the President talks about current topics – constant attacks on him, the game in Novi Pazar, the economic progress of Serbia, the successes of our Olympians and the fire at the landfill in Vinca.
“I followed the Olympics as much as I could. The hardest time was 2012 because they were in London, so everything happened in prime time. It was much easier now in Tokyo. That competition is different from all because nations compete. I am especially proud because in London we shared the fourth place in the region with the Bulgarians in terms of the number of medals, and now we are second, right behind Hungary “, began Vučić.
The President congratulated all the medal winners and their coaches.
“Let me remind you, in two days, all medal winners will receive prizes, 70,000 euros for gold, 60,000 for silver, 50,000 for bronze.”
“The construction of the National Stadium is starting, but also football stadiums in other places. We do not need our league to be composed only of clubs from Belgrade and Novi Sad. “Just as we bring back water polo players, we will bring back footballers from abroad.”

Vučić reacted to the accusations made by Nikola Samardžić in connection with the fires in Montenegro and asked if he was also guilty of the fires in Greece and Turkey.

Vučić also spoke about the fire at the landfill in Vinča.

He said that those who are vacationing in Montenegro, Greece, Turkey and Croatia write the most about the harmful consequences of the fire in Vinca.
“We found a machine for transplanting trees,” the president said, adding that we had “moderately good air.”
Vučić pointed out that we will take care of the environment, but that we must also take into account the energy security and sovereignty of Serbia.
“Not all EU requirements need to be met. “When you force the Poles to shut down their thermal power plants in Turovo, then we will also shut down our thermal power plants.”
“There is nothing alarming in Vinca, everything will be shut down in two or three days.”
Vučić says about the accusations of the opposition that the connection between the criminal clan and the state leadership is yet to be revealed:
