The head of the parliamentary group of the LDK, Arben Gashi, said at today’s session of the Assembly that Prime Minister Kurti used to spread his wings like a falcon, and now he is sitting like a chicken, reports Gazeta Express.

– Today, I remind the current Prime Minister and the current Minister of Finance of how they behaved in this Assembly when we discussed the Law on Economic Recovery. They spread their wings like falcons, and today they sit like chickens, because they know what it means to make decisions in the interest of the state – Gashi said during the discussion on the ratification of two international agreements.

The President of the Assembly, Gljauk Konjufca, reacted to that, warning Gashi to “take care of the vocabulary”.

Gashi replied that these were not words heard for the first time in the Assembly, alluding to Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s speech about “falcon and chicken” while he was in opposition.

– You have not heard those words in the Assembly before, Mr. Konjufca – Gashi asked.

He added that his party would support international agreements, unlike the Self-Determination Movement, which did not support them while it was in opposition.

– It is not bad to squat like a chicken today, it is important to understand the importance of the state and power. Two of these agreements have been proposed here, which we will support. It is an agreement with the Council of Europe Development Bank to finance the Kovid-19 emergency response project, which you did not support while you were in opposition, I just remind you. We are not like you and we are proud that we are not like you, because the interest of the state is more important. We also provide support for the ratification of the bilateral Agreement with the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. We give our support, because we have responsibility in mind, because we do not see that by blocking the Government, we gain politically, that is not our goal – Gashi said.
