According to a German media website,“German wave”, Bahrain ranks fifth among Arab nations in terms of suicide rates.
Citing the World Health Organization (WHO), the website revealed the five nations with the highest suicide rates in the Arab world.
While Yemen topped the list, Sudan was just second, followed by Djibouti and then fourth with Qatar.
Almost 13 suicides have been officially reported in the Kingdom of Bahrain since early 2019, prompting authorities to make efforts to reduce the incidents.
