Reading the lives of the saint, Sandra Lucic and Marijan Livic from Belgrade were delighted with the way in which people used to go to worship or visit shrines. They felt great joy just reading about it, and then they decided to try it themselves.

The first destination they set out for was in Russia, and then they were encouraged by good experiences, continued on and crossed thousands and thousands of kilometers by hitchhiking around monasteries, getting to know the planet, different cultures and people. So far, they have been to Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria…

Sandra and Marian claim to adore challenges and to be amazed by the kindness of the people in the world. As they say, they never gave up traveling, they just happened to change the direction of movement. For some of the places they passed through, they would only find out later that they were very dangerous, that in the dense Siberian forest where they spent the night, it was a great risk because a bear could attack them at any moment.

They overcome all obstacles with a positive attitude and faith, which, as they say, is in the first place. Some of their favorite shrines they visited were Divyevo in Russia, Kyahta (Trojickosavsk) in Siberia, Kipyachevo in Ukraine, the chapel of St. Xenia of Petrograd in St. Petersburg, Surota in Greece, monasteries in Georgia, Ostrog in Montenegro, Junis near Krusevac.
