After the first visit of the acting Tourist Organization of Bor, Bobana Gamić to Kikinda, at the beginning of June, a return visit followed on July 7 and 8, during which the acting Tourist Organization of Kikinda, Jasmina Milankov, left positive impressions.
– Bor has a beautiful nature and a reason to be proud, the hosts were great and the impressions are really positive. I hope that the people of Kikinda will gladly come here and get to know this part of Serbia. We can’t wait to make a tourist offer for them and for as many people from the north of Banat to get to know Bor. I would like our cooperation to expand and be established in other areas, such as sports and culture – said Milankov.

The hosts presented to the guests the tourist potentials of Bor, when joint activities between the two cities in the future were agreed upon.
– We have a great desire to expand our tourist offer and, above all, to develop tourism as a natural branch and to present our natural beauties to the people of Vojvodina. We want to make a common whole of different tourist offers of Kikinda and Bor – said Danijel Aleksić, a member of the City Council of the City of Bor.
During the visit, the people of Kikinda visited the Zlota Cave and the lookout of Lazar’s Canyon, Borsko Lake, Brestovacka Banja and the mountain Borski stol, as the most important tourist sites of the hosts.
Let us remind you, TO Kikinde officially started working at the end of April, although tourism in the north of Banta has a decade-long tradition. One of the first activities of the newly established organization under the slogan “City of Good People” was the establishment of cooperation with other places in Serbia, of which Bor was in the first place.

Widely known for manifestation, sports and cultural tourism, as a city of owls, mammoths, lunatics, Suvača – the only preserved horse-powered mill in Serbia, the International Symposium of Large Format Sculpture in Terracotta and the Museum “Terra”, Kikinda and how to have something to do diči, and at the beginning of June she presented her tourist offer to guests from Bor.
