FITEQ normal secretary meets officers in Serbia as a part of Teqball Roadshow

The Secretary General of the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ), Marius Vizer Jr., met with officials in Serbia as part of an ongoing Teqball roadshow.

FITEQ is currently visiting countries in Europe and Asia to promote Teqball in the regions.

The umbrella organization praises the development of Teqball in Serbia, which is considered to be one of the leading countries in the sport.

During his visit, Vizer met with representatives of the Serbian Olympic Committee, the National Ministry of Sports and the Novi Sad Regional Ministry of Sports.

The governing body shared its vision for the growth of the sport at the meeting, while several workshops were organized with the Serbian Teqball Association to accelerate the growth of the sport.

Vizer and a team of FITEQ sports teachers organized training units in collaboration with Ognjen Paripović, President of the Serbian Teqball Association.

Paripović played during his professional football career for the six-time Hungarian champions Vasas SC as well as for the Azerbaijani top club FK Standard Sumgayit and the Serbian SuperLiga team Proleter Novi Sad.

After his retirement he switched to sports administration.

Those in charge played Teqball with the 2018 double world champions Bogdan Marojević and Nikola Mitro.

Marojević currently ranks 11th in singles and 13th in doubles.

Mitro is 12th in doubles and 91st in singles.
