At the 14th Graduation Parade in front of the plateau of the City Hall, 344 high school graduates from Kikinda danced at the same time, and six and a half thousand fourth-grade students from the high school in Kikinda were sent off. This year, high school graduates in 56 cities in Serbia and the region connected Gaudeamus, fanfares and the beats of Strauss’s operetta “Bat” with a signal broadcast via Radio Salomon.
– I am glad to be a part of the Graduation Parade. My feelings are mixed, I am very happy, but also sad that we are parting from our friends. I plan to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine – says Milica Bajić, a graduate of the “Dušan Vasiljev” High School.

A big chapter in life was also over for Srećko Glušac, a graduate of the Technical School.
– I will remember schooling in good times with friends, but also the crown. I will enroll at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, most likely, said Glušac.

The mayor of Kikinda, Nikola Lukac, and his deputy, Diana Jaksic Kiurski, could not resist dancing at the Graduation Parade.
– It is really a beautiful feeling that today we danced with the graduates and danced with them, but we were also part of the atmosphere which is a combination of something most beautiful in the world. A combination of love, positive vibrations and energy that is felt at every step. I congratulate the graduates on the end of high school and I wish them good luck in their further education and life. Let them go through life bravely, to finish college successfully and become good people – said Jaksic Kiurski.

In previous years, there were many more dance “fours” in Kikinda, and today that number is almost halved. The Užice circuit was also danced, and after that the end of schooling was marked by the inevitable trumpeters.
