The White Eagles from Canberra knew that they were going to play against the best team of the Second Premier League, ACT, but they did not even dream that they would return from the neighboring Quinbian with a full net.
After a good start to the season, they suffered a sobering defeat – 7: 0 from Quinbian City.
However, the final result was objectively too high, since the difference between the two teams is by no means so great. But, Kalen-Rue’s own goal in the finish of the first half, with which the host took the lead with 2: 0, determined the further course of the game.
The Eagles could not recover from that shock, and then at the beginning of the second part, an “abyss” opened and Quinbian scored three more goals.
In the next round, the Serbian club from Canberra will be very tempted, since last year’s sensation, the team of Jugalija from Griffith, is coming to their guests. The match is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, at 3:00 PM at the stadium in Voden.
