HM King visits BDF Common Command, lauds employees’s excellent efforts | THE DAILY TRIBUNE

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander in Chief, today visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) where he was greeted by the BDF Supreme Commander Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Defense, General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard Maj. Gen. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior officers.

HM the King was accompanied during the royal visit that marked the conclusion of the BDF’s 53rd anniversary celebrations by HM the King’s personal representative, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

King Hamad praised the numerous and significant achievements and projects launched on a special occasion and praised the efforts of the BDF to celebrate the national anniversary.

The Commander-in-Chief also praised the BDF’s efforts to fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) as part of the national campaign to fight the global epidemic, as well as the high contributions and readiness of medical services, including the provision of facilities equipped with the latest medicines are and preventive means by qualified and specialized medical personnel.

During a briefing on plans to develop all BDF units, HM the King took pride in the BDF staff and their constant readiness, stressing that they are valued and a source of pride for Bahrain and its people.

The Supreme Commander wished the courageous BDF staff continued success in their various functions in Bahrain and abroad, and Bahrain continued its progress and prosperity.
