Janković celebrates his anniversaries with a concert in Kolarac on October 7, starting at 8 p.m.
“Successes are always the result of some work and practice. Without that, there is nothing in our profession without great work and renunciation,” Janković said in the Belgrade Chronicle and admitted that at the beginning he still wanted to play the oboe, following his brother’s example.
Nevertheless, he began to play the bassoon and achieved notable performances.
“The bassoon can convey various emotions, from the saddest, most tender set melodies, to the most cheerful,” explained Janković, the important role of this instrument in the orchestra.
Speaking about children who would like to play music, specifically playing, Janković emphasizes that playing develops motor skills in children, so, as he says, it is good to play music in the youngest days, even if later in life – he does not become a professional musician .
