Elche recorded their sixth defeat of the season, despite a 1:0 lead, so after seven played rounds they have only won one point and are stuck at the bottom of the table.
The visitors took the lead with a goal from Boye in the 32nd minute, but only eight minutes later Camelio scored the equalizing goal.
Rayo attacked decisively and in the end achieved a complete reversal and three points – the final result was set by Unai Lopez in the 96th minute.
After seven rounds, Rajo Vallecano is in 10th position with the same number of points won, while Elche is at the very back.
