Lawyer Kenneth Starr, whose investigation led to the “Lewinsky” affair and the impeachment of Invoice Clinton, has handed away

Kenneth Starr died in Houston, due to complications after surgery, according to a statement from Baylor University.

Starr was a lecturer at several universities, while simultaneously working as a partner in a law firm.

He is best known for his work in the 1990s, when as an independent counsel he was in charge of investigating Bill and Hillary Clinton’s land investments, which became known as the “Whitewater” scandal.

Starr expanded its investigation and began uncovering the president’s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

The affair with Monica Lewinsky brought Clinton into conflict with Congress and impeachment, but the Senate acquitted him of the charges.
