The duel in Humska, which marked the ninth round of the Serbian Super League, ended in a 1:1 draw thanks to Osman Bukari’s Eurogoal and Bibars Nath’s penalty.
“As I said, we are entering a series of serious games. Zvezda and Europe, they played knowing what awaits them. Tonight we are aware that Partizan is coming out of nervousness. There was a bit of panic and nervousness, then everything calmed down and when everything comes together, we are closer to victory, especially in the second half,” said Petrić.
The head of the coaching staff also referred to the large number of young players in the team.
“The young players have shown that they can be counted on and that they are the future of Partizan.”
Petrić pointed out that he is not satisfied with the draw, even though Partizan was in a subordinate position before the “eternal derby”.
“I’m sorry that we didn’t win, because that way we would have made it a step higher in the dressing room, but this is how we set out on the road that will adorn Partizan until the end of the half-season,” concluded Petrić.
