The evening was attended, along with the Prime Minister and the Patriarch, by Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Bishop Nikodim of Dalmatia, Bishop Nikodim of Zahum and Herzegovina, Minister of Justice Marko Kovač, Minister of Finance Aleksandar Damjanović, State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice Bojan Božović and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Legal Affairs Ivo Schoc, the prime minister’s office said, was reported by RTCG.
The Patriarch met tonight in Herceg Novi with Democratic Front MPs Jovan Vučurović and Dejan Đurović.
The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church led the vespers in Herceg Novi procession on the occasion of the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
He served the liturgy this morning in the Savina monastery, on the occasion of the glory of that Orthodox temple.
The ceremonial academy in honor of the 640th anniversary of the founding of Herceg Novi will be held tomorrow evening at the Kanli Tower, followed by the program “Grandfather’s Assembly – From the Danube to the Blue Sea”, dedicated to the memory of Metropolitan Amfilohi, which will be opened by Patriarch Porfirije.
