After the accident, they were transported to the Bijelo Polje General Hospital, where one of the injured underwent emergency surgery.
As Vijesti learned from the hospital in Bjelopolje, twenty-one-year-old N. M. suffered injuries from a burst spleen, for which he underwent an emergency surgical procedure of splenectomy (surgical removal of the spleen), as well as a contusion of the intestine.
Twenty-two-year-old T. Ch. suffered a fracture of two metacarpal bones.
"After treatment, both patients were placed in the emergency ward"says the hospital’s response to Vijesta.
The accident occurred when the driver N. M. collided with a vehicle "Toyota" at the wheel of which sat Bjelopoljac K. Ć., who passed without injuries.
"For reasons not yet determined, on the main road Mojkovac-Kolašin in the town of Podbišće, a vehicle ‘Reno Klio’, which was moving from the direction of Mojkovac towards Kolašin, and a vehicle ‘Toyota’, with registration plates from Bijelopolska, which was driven from the opposite direction by K.
